In 2014, my 74-year-old granddad Tom Sivyer was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia. Shortly afterwards, I moved in with my grandparents and began filming them as their lives quickly turned upside down.

Shot over three years on a hand-held camera, Granddad, Dementia and Me is told through my eyes as I struggle to look after my granddad Tom, and my grandparents’ relationship begins to suffer under the onset of my granddad’s disease.
