I make intimate, character led films about complex people and sensitive subjects, drawn to stories that illuminate the human experience.
I am a director based in London, currently directing my third feature documentary for Netflix. My work has been commissioned by Netflix, Universal Pictures, BBC, Paramount and Vice, and has premiered at Tribeca, Sheffield DocFest and New Orleans Film Festivals.
My most recent feature documentary, The Investigation of Lucy Letby, became Netflix's number one film globally following its release and has since been watched by more than 90 million people worldwide. The film was nominated for a Digital Broadcast Award.
Previous credits include Rebel Nun, a feature documentary about Sister Helen Prejean produced by Universal Pictures and triple Academy Award-winning Passion Pictures, which premiered at Tribeca, and Granddad, Dementia and Me, an authored BBC documentary about my grandfather's dementia which was shortlisted for the BAFTA Breakthrough Award.
